描述

如果你真的看过Moonpaths导航,你会立即注意到它有多糟糕。在Moonpath,NPC不断尝试穿过几乎每个细胞中的墙壁,岩石,树木物体。有大量的情况下,导航网在物体,地形,墙壁等下移动,或埋藏,浮动等。不仅如此,在许多小区中,NM在某些地方非常保守。 IoW,在navmesh覆盖范围方面,很多地形未得到充分利用。这个文件几乎改变了Moonpath中的每个单元格,因此它们现在可以在不必经常挂在[所有]上的情况下进行导航,现在它们可以在不经常试图穿过地形和物体的情况下移动,并且比以前更加自由。

Description

If you actually looked at Moonpaths navmeshing, you would notice right away, how bad it is. In Moonpath, NPCs are constantly trying to travel through walls, rocks, trees objects in almost every cell.  There are a substantial number of cases where navmesh travels under objects, terrain, walls and so on, or is buried, floating etc.  And it not just that, in many of the cells, the NM was very conservative in places. IoW,  a lot of the terrain was  underutilized in terms of navmesh coverage. This file overhauls almost every cell in Moonpath so they can now navigate without constantly getting hung up on [everything], and they can now move about without constantly trying to shove their way through terrain and objects, and with somewhat more freedom than previously.

But that is not all.

Other fixes.

-Updated bounds for all MP2E statics, npcs, ingestibles etc.

-Terrain fixes.  I fixed a few gaps, holes, item placement issues I happened to notice.  Because Moonpath does not have its own world,  the terrain cannot be molded using landscape tools for a more natural and rounded look, so, static objects are all we have to work with.

-Updated main sand texture.(4k with 4k Normal) This helped a great deal. A lot of Moonpaths assets could use updating tbh. While MP2E does not have a lot of its own textures and meshes, most of them are rather dated, with most being 512/1k, with only a few being 2k.

Editor ID's redone. A  number of Moonpaths Editor ID's, were given a new prefix  > MPE_Xxxxx.

Installation *READ*

There are a number of other important bug-fixes made by other authors that address general and or specific bugs in Moonpath. Installing ALL of them, will insure your Moonpath is as up-to-date as possible.

These companion files are highly *Highly Recommended* for use with this file.  

So, In order to fully update and modernize Moonpath, you will require a total of 4 files installed. Yes all four.

-A general overall fix for a number of MP2E issues.

Moonpath to Elsweyr Navmesh (and other) fixes

-Mainly fixes to navmesh, along with bounds, terrain and a few other assorted issues not covered by the other files.

Install all the needed resources in the following order. 

1) Moonpath to Elsweyr SSE 

2) Unofficial Moonpath Patch

3) Moonpath Navmesh fixes

4) Moonpath Sky and Lighting fix.*

*I recommend v1.1 of this file, and not the merged file.

Compatibility

This file fixes Moonpaths internal navmeshing, and a few other related issues.

This file makes no changes to quests, npcs, or events related to the actual Moonpath 'world'. It makes no changes to Moonpaths Tamriel elements.

-Legacy of the Dragonborn.  Compatible.

-Unoffical Moonpath Fix. - Compatible with the handful of items common to both files.

About feedback, aka complaints.

If you still find instances of bad pathfinding in Moonpath after installing this I would appreciate it greatly if you would not %^%ch in a hostile and belligerent manner,  about the file. Skyrim path-finding is still subject to all sorts of variables that cannot always be eliminated though even good navmeshing. This file overhauled a great deal of Moonpaths territory and fixed a lot of its glaring issues, but it did not do every single square millimeter. IoW, NPCs might continue to path poorly here or there. That is just how it goes. 

If you feel, or verify even, this file might have made an error somewhere, say so. If you find a spot that still suffers from questionable pathfinding, you might have hit a spot that MNMF didnt touch. Or it could just be Skyrim being Skyrim.

Known Issues:

Id love to see the textures all Moonpaths textures updated beyond the simple sand one I did. I'd really like to fix that awful painted-on looking moss on some of the vegetation and better rocks etc. Other assets like the airship, banners etc, are a little beyond my skill level.

The rain-forest cells vegetation, I am mostly thinking of the trees here, have that awful moss texture being applied that I could not seem to change or control in the mesh. If you have any insights on how to improve it, or what I overlooked, let me know.
