Reach Tree Branch Retexture changes the branches on leafless reach trees to decreaseshimmering.

This mod was made with VR in mind because the shimmering on these trees in VR is especially bad.

In SSE shimmering isn't as bad but this mod still makes a noticeable difference.

What was changed?

This isn't a new texture, rather it is a heavily modified vanilla one. First I upscaled it to 2K using Topaz A.I. Gigapixel. Then I made the branches thicker by adding a border and darkening them slightly. I've also included a version that removes them instead.

Installation

Install with mod manager. Click the Download with Manager Button and then activate it in your mod manager, overwrite all.

Recommendations

Use with Reach Tree Replacer for even better reach trees.

Q: How much does this reduce shimmering?

A: There is still some if you look closely but it helps a ton.

Q: How does this affect performance?

A: It could hurt it marginally due to a couple megabytes more VRAM usage just like most retextures.
