Greetings community!

It is with great pride that we bring you Secession - The new Civil War era combat multiplayer mod! Secession is a mod that we have built from the ground up (using the Native module) to be as historically accurate as possible, including tactics, uniforms, weapons, and everything.

Note that since we are still in alpha stages, everything may not be up to par. Rest assured, however, that we are working tirelessly to make this mod as good as possible, and will frequently be updating it with new and updated content.

We welcome all of you into our fledgling community, and hope to present you with an enjoyable, era-accurate war experience. And we afcourse hope that you will enjoy in this fearless ACW era-Mod!

Important! You will need to run Warband through the Warband Script Extender in order to join a server. The Script Extender is bundled with the installer. Running the game through it is easy, just go to where you installed the game (Mount and Blade directory -> modules -> Secession v0.42), double click the WSE server, and then double click WSELoader.exe. Warband will be launched, and you can continue as normal.

You can move this file anywhere you'd like, or make a shortcut to it. It will autodetect your Warband directory.

Server owners, this affects you too. Check the bottom of this post for info on how to run a WSE-enabled server.

Step-by-step for server owners:

-Find the WSE folder talked about earlier.

-Copy the contents to your dedicated server folder.

-Open the .bat you run the server with.

-Replace mb_warband_dedicated.exe with WSELoaderServer.exe in the .bat file

-Save, close out, run the .bat. You're done!
