This mod changes the the colors of Solitude's roofs to red, which better matches the Solitude banner and the uniforms of its guards and military forces. Now, the rooftops in Solitude and the outlying farms and mills are now red, while the Blue Palace's roof is now a nice royal blue.

The textures are new, as are the normals where required. No matter how close you get to them, they do not seem to be "melted", which indicates a bad normal map. Also, I took the time to tighten up the textures, and now they can be considered HD. They are now 2K in size.

I also added my made-from-scratch lattice to replace that hideous-looking whatever it was that was supposed to be a lattice in the market by the well.

OBJECTS AND AREAS AFFECTED

All rooftops in the city of Solitude, Solitude Windmill (and, optionally, its Sail if using SMIM). Outside the Solitude main gate it affects all buildings at Katla's Farm, and the Solitude Saw Mill and its Camp House.

COMPATIBILITY

Visitant's Solitude Rooftops is compatible with all mods, including those that change the textures of Solitude (for instance, JK's Solitude or JK's All-In-One). Just load it below them and you're good to go.

Visitant's Solitude Rooftops is also SMIM compatible via a patch, which re-colors the Solitude Windmill Sail to match the rooftops.

JK's Skyrim All-In-One - I like this better than Dawn of Skyrim and similar. But you can choose what you want and this mod will work with it!

Skyrim Realistic Overhaul - This is found outside of Nexus, and is the base for all of my texture mods. You have to dig for all of the parts.

Skyrim 2017 Textures by Pfuscher - I modified some of the parallax parts of this. Also, I don't use the landscapes or mountains parts of this mod.

Northfire's Photoreal Mountains - I think this is one of the best mountain re-textures out there!

Nordic Lantern Replacer - Its on the Skyrim LE/Oldrim side but I think its a basic requirement because the default Skyrim lanterns are horrible looking!
