Skyrim Unleashed VR是来自oldrim的SU2 mod的一个端口。它在VR中运行得非常好！当您游览天际VR的美妙世界时，它将带来全新且完美平衡的感觉。

Skyrim Unleashed VR is a port of my SU2 mod from oldrim. And it works incredibly well in VR! It will bring a new and perfectly balanced feeling when you will travel the wonderfull world of Skyrim VR.





Key features:

- Stronger enemies: 

Level scaling has been entirely redone. Now at the beginning of your adventures, bad guys are really bad, wild animals are really wild, and dangerous places are really dangerous! But don't panic, as you progress in the game, you'll get stronger, more experienced and more skilled.

- Better AI: 

Yes, enemies are dangerous but they are not stupid: why attacking everyone without discernment? Now when you approach an exterior bandit camp, they will warn you and ask you to leave. If you don't (or if you attack), then you'll have to assume...It's also true with animals which won't try to kill you, instead they will show you that you are encroaching on their territory. Randomly, you will meet really bad guys or enraged beasts who won't be in the mood to negociate, but hey that's life...

- Rewarding Loot:

The vanilla level scaling for items is very poor: once you reach a certain level *wooosh* orcish weapon/armors everywhere. You reach another certain level? *Woooosh* ebonite stuff for all. Well, it's over: now you can potentially find anything at any level, it's just a matter of luck and common sense. Dangerous or powerfull guys use good and rare stuff, tramps use junk (sadly there are a lot of tramps in Skyrim). Oh and if you play as a mage, that mechanism is also used for spellbooks and robes.

- Enhanced Crafting: 

Considering you can potentially find very good stuff at low level, I already hear you say "OK it's just another completely unbalanced and broken noob's mod". NO. First, I'm not a noob :) Second, everything is perfectly balanced when you consider craft and items improvement. In Skyrim, it's always better and more efficient to use a perfectly improved steel weapon than a "factory" orcish one, because what does matter is damage, not material. So now you'll need refinement plans to improve an item (above iron), and these plans might be very rare depending the material of your gear: while finding or buying refinement plans for steel is not too complicated, get a hand on a plan for ebonite (or worse, daedric) might be the biggest quest of your dragonborn life. So my advice: keep your precious ebonite armor in Breezehome and use your good old improved steel armor until you find how to refine ebonite...

- Real Trading:

I have a good new for you: money is finally used for something. Since it's might be hard to take the rare great stuff from powerfull guys, why not saving money and buy it to the next blacksmith? Like in the world around them, traders may have really valuable items to sell promptly. But a rare item will cost a lot of money, business is business...My advice: train your speech skill, look Beletor in the eyes (VR FTW!) and negociate.

- Many other things:

Randomly: friendly NPC have a coherent level with the world around them: civilans are rather weak, soldiers and guards are really burly. Unique items are unambiguously uniquel. Jewelry can make you a rich guy. And so on...

- DLCs items unlocked:

Now any NPC at any place in Skyrim can use/sell DLC items, including crossbows, stalhrim gears and so on.

Skyrim Unleashed for dummies:

- Find a companion asap: just after Helgen you are a weak civilian so hire a guy who knows how to use a weapon. When you'll get better at fighting (understand at highter level), maybe you'll be able to survive without help.

- Train yourself: even the greatest warriors were noobs. So find a way to make money and buy you some training sessions in town.

- Choose your opponents: even simple bandits can be dangerous at the beginning. Wild beasts might be a better choice, but don't forget the rule: if it's big, it's lethal. I've heard that even a big mudcrab can kill a rookie...Undead might be also a good choice to train your skills.

- Equip yourself regularly: good gears can make the difference between a living dragonborn and a dead one.

- Avoid mage enemies at low level, or be sure you are well protected against magic: when you are not used to it, magic hurts. Seriously.

- You like jewel? Gold? everything shines? Good surprises? Bosses treasure chests are what you need. Just kill the terrifying and powerfull Boss. Quite simple.

FAQ:

- Enemies in the Helgen tutorial are ridiculously weak!

Yep the tutorial remains vanilla like. We'll talk about weakness later...

- Is it compatible with...?

Short answer: NO. By nature, Skyrim Unleashed is a global overhaul meaning that it changes many settings in the game (NPC, Items, leveled lists,...). So don't use anything other than cosmetic if you want to have a reliable and balanced (and fun!) experience. Avoid particularly mods adding extra items (weapons, armors,...) and extra enemies. However, SKSE based mods are usually compatible (for instance Wet & Cold).

- Can I use it in my current playthrough?

No I strongly recommend to start a new game when installing Unleashed (mainly to avoid a strange world where some bandits are weak as hell and others hit really hard). Start a new game, give it a try, you won't regret.

- Why is it in beta?

This version is built on a mod initially created in 2012, so trust me it is polished. The beta tag is just because Skyrim VR might interfere with settings I may not be aware (despite the fact that I've played the mod in VR during many hours). That's also why I need your feedback.

- It is too difficult, I do prefer drinking milk instead of playing that thing!

No franckly it's not so hard if you follow my advices above. The mod has been set to be played in Normal difficulty. If an enemy kicks your ass too hard, try to lower the difficulty, it should be fine (my first encounter with a random Draugr Death Overlord was pretty traumatic to be honest...). But remember: remain humble and don't try to kill everything at low levels. On the opposite, if you think that nobody can resist your bonecrusher special move, don't hesitate to increase the difficulty level.

- What about load order?

If you have followed my recommendation and didn't install anything else than cosmetic mods, load order doesn't matter. Just one important thing: load it AFTER unofficial patchs.

- Is it compatible with SSE?

Technically there's no reason that it won't work with SSE. Simply I don't play SSE, only oldrim and Skyrim VR.

I have maybe forgotten details and usefull informations about the mod so I will complete this description if necessary.

It is well balanced and well optimized- I`m happy to report not one CTD while playing this mod. Levelled lists are exceptionally well done...Unlike some other overhauls, SU adds difficulty where was needed(in a lore friendly way)... while keeping in mind that Skyrim is also a game about exploration, so it doesn`t try to turn this into Demon Souls conversion. 

-This mod is for people like me, people who would not dream of taking their level 1-5 noob character to bleak falls barrow, because how does one dare think such a scary place should be easy? Its about preparation and patience. Found one piece of really nice armor? Think about selling it (increased prices for rare goods) and actually go to an Alchemist and buy a powerful health potion, even if it takes all of your money; would you rather have that at the bottom of a dungeon or a pocket full of gold? This mod brings back the feeling of OOO for me, without being as intrusive as mods like Requiem. Learn to pick your fights; simply take on what you can and learn when to move on. Actually use the dialogue options to turn down quests if they sound dangerous. Knowing when to walk away and *move on* is a skill in itself. Playing this way you can actually get by without dying. The reward comes when you find you're turning down less things, going deeper into caves, and actually feeling like you are getting powerful.

- After several days now of playing with SU, I can honestly say "WELL DONE" 2 HUGE thumbs up, this is the BEST overhaul I've ever had installed on one of Beth's games.

-best... overhaul... EVER!!!!! love it! I simple love it! >.< played for about 2 hours by that time in vanilla game I have finished all the bounty quest in whiterun killed the first dragon, and half way to riften >.< with this I have onle went through valheim keep to get amren sword It was hard as F&%k to get it, this mod is a lot of fun :B 

-Anyway I just wanted to say your mod is amazing, the subtle ways in which it changes the game are truly mind-blowing when you realise them.

-This mod makes it damn hard...gloriously hard...my nipples hard. It does exactly what it says. I'm at over 2000 hours of play with this game and I had to change everything that I had been doing the entire time prior to using this mod. It was wonderful. Using cover, running like hell, using cover, dying, wash, rinse, repeat. I got my ass kicked the first time I strolled in to get the Dragonstone tablet. I should have realized what I was in for when I had to chug a potion after tangling with the wolves outside of Riverrun. I have gotten a handle on it and I'm now level 22, but I will tell you that I have died more times getting there than I have during an entire playthroughs. This mod is a biatch, but you love her anyway. 

-SU forces the player to experiment with Skyrim, and use the full potential hidden in the game. If you wish to survive, you have to hunt, craft, mine, sneak, learn, just to name a few. Do not look at this as difficulty, look at this as a possibility to dive into the captivating atmosphere of Skyrim. I have tried many overhauls, but as of yet, SU is the best for me, as it suits my need for harder gameplay

-I have experience with a lot of other gameplay changing mods and SU is among the best. The way SU balances out some of the exploits crafting/enchanting/buying&selling that persist with the vanilla game along with making enemy encounters less predictable makes Skyrim more fun, exciting, and challenging. 

-This mod captures the spirit of the Classic RPG really well with having a 'road to power'. Great work, finally a overhaul I can really enjoy! It reminds me of games like Morrowind, Gothic series and The Witcher games. 

-Saw this mod a while ago but was using so many other gameplay mods that i decided not to try it......biggest mistake EVER! I can't believe it's not more popular!! So far i am simply loving the changes, most of all the economy, the vanilla one is so messed up it's painful and no mods got it right until now =)

-awesome mod. So far, it's better Skyre, and much more mod-friendly, a huge plus. Now you actually have to BUILD your character, both in perks and in the role-playing way. Want to deal with heavy mobs? Go get the equipment, or craft it. Take your time. Laast, you made my day.

-I'll be honest. At first I didn't understand the goal of this mod. After a few hours playing, I get it now. This mod is amazingly balanced and rewarding on a whole new level. Spending the first 10-15 levels doing side jobs, making coin brawling in taverns and hunting let me train and equip myself well enough to go back and take sweet revenge on that group of bandits that kicked my butt yesterday. Well done Laast.

- Finally got to playing a new game using this...I'm getting my arse handed to me all the time. I had to get a hireling just to get through Bleak Falls Barrow. I actually have to use block now! Really loving this...great job.

- I found this mod alone to keep me challenged. It is well balanced.

- Still works unbelievable great! getting money is hard and there is always a thing which i want to buy. I never reach 10.000 gold as a warrior xD finding treasure chests is still awesome.

- Now tactical combat is necessity, you must eliminate enemies one by one without rush and avoid missiles, especially at low/middle levels.

- This mod changed Skyrim for me. It made it fun again. For that, I cant thank you enough. You did what should have been done from the beginning. Skyrim is now tactically challenging. You have made all the perks have impact on the game. No more maxing out a few trees and cruising through the game. I have to block now. I NEVER had to block in vanila. The only down side is that my girlfriend wont play anymore because she keeps getting one-shot by archers. Actually I dunno if thats a downside or not... Seriously, as far as game play changes, this mod is without a doubt one of, if not the best. Endorsed and thanks.

- Endorsed! Must have for players seeking a challenge! After completing the main quest on Master I have been modding Skyrim to make it more difficult, THIS mod did it though! Day and night difference. Skyrim is a challenge now. I used the vanilla (no Wo3e or Jasus) version of this mod on a new character and am enjoying every minute of it.

- I've never played Skyrim so long before getting bored to death. And with this mod I'm still immersed in the world and can't wait to play Skyrim again every evening. It ruined my social life. Fix it!
